Mud Journal

7.2.03 - Going down the beach tomorrow for a few days, so I'll be getting the money for my lift as well (hopefully). 2 days ago I went offroading with a few friends and got stuck...yeah..I'll post the story up later today. I also picked up 2 more green neons for inside the jeep. So far I have a 20 inch inside the front bumper, and a 10 inch inside. My other 10 inch broke, I had them under the front seats. Pictures of the neons will be coming shortly. They are green neons...just incase you were wondering.

6.26.03 - Just installed the Daystar econo-lift. It's 1 inch lift rear shackles, which have proven to lift 2 inches, and 1 3/4 inch coil spacers for the front. The rear only took about an hour to do both sides using hand tools. Which included and breaker bar and a 13/16 inch socket. The front rear was a pain in the ass, it took about 4 hours to do it because everything decided to shift and wouldn't match up bolt holes. then after getting the right tire back on the jeep falls off the stands and jacks. Fun! Especially when you're under the jeep. =0O yeah, but he lift looks awesome, next weekend I will be getting my 3 inch suspension lift to add on. until then, seeya

6.6.03 - The new exhaust is broken in and sounds great. Isn't the best sounding compared to my flowmaster, but it still sounds really nice opened up. The lift and cold air intake are on the way, so pictures and such will be up when they are installed. Today I installed 3 green street glow neons on the jeep. 1 in the ARB bumper in the center (looks really cool) and the other 2 under each front seat. I'll be picking up Hella 5x7 lights soon for the bumper, so then I won't have the lights now on the roller fairlead mounts. Well, until next time...

5.23.03 - Went back in the mud tonight, it was fun but was only for a few minutes down at a nearby pipeline. It was fun slingin' mud again, made me remember all those past offroading times...well now that the exhaust is on...a hell of a lot more trips will be instore in the near future.

5.22.03 - New Exhaust is on, sounds awesome. So much quieter than my straight pipes...haha... Anyways, the lift is coming in a few weeks, pictures of that will be up when it happens. Stay tuned!

5.17.03 - It's been a while since I last updated the page, but now I have stuff to put on it. I just got back from Cape Hatteras, NC and have some awesome pictures and movies of my jeep on the beach. Driving on the beach is pretty damn awesome. I should have them posted at the end of the week.

4.7.03 - So yeah, it's spring time but when I woke up this morning there is snow falling from the sky and covering everything on the ground. Extremely uncool... I haven't been in the mud in a while due to this strange weather but hopefully soon I can get back into it and get dirty. YEAH!

3.17.03 - it's been a while since I've last did anything off road. Went twice in the past week, got stuck the first time and went out over the weekend with another jeeper. It was fun, but since I was at the beach the mud had a lot of sand in it...not good...ehh, but what are you gonna do? I just bought and installed a Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer. It sounds so awesome. I'm changing the layout of the site around, to make it more interesting and what not.

2/4/03 - So I've been in talks with ARB for the past week about my bumper. They keep asking for more pictures, I've already sent in 6 pictures, 3 on the site and 3 taken over the weekend. I'll put those three up shortly so you can see the extent of the damage. Yeah, the bumper held up well against the 3 foot diameter tree that I hit. Well, I'm off to argue more with them, maybe I can get sponsored by them and get free stuff. YEAH!

2/3/03 - My flares are cut now, now more rubbing! I've been out of the mud for a while now. It's raining heavily today and all the snow has melted meaning more mud to paly in. I can't wait to play again. But I think before I do any mudding I'm going to hook up my bumper lights to my parking lights and put my offroad lights back on for now. The extra light is handy at night.

1/25/03 - The jeep is now officially using AMSOIL. I put on new rims the other day, I think it was thursday. Now my jeep actually looks like a jeep. Each rim has 2 inchs less backspacing, so now the wider wheel stance looks evil and mean, especially with the ARB bumper. I'll be back in the mud after everything thaws out and I get my flares cut from my tires rubbing on them. Until then, catch ya later

1/13/03 - I've been a bit busy over break, but I have been doing some mudding. I'll put the stories up either tonight or tomorrow along with the pictures I took during and after. Check back soon...

12/28/02 - I bought my bumper on the 26th and installed it. That thing looks beautiful. I'm saving up for the Warn M8000 8000lb winch. I haven't gone off-roading in a while, perhaps a trip is in store later this week.

11/18/02 - I almost got stuck again saturday night(11/16). Yeah, it was pretty funny...even though it's a small story, I guess I'll post it up... Oh yeah, now I have 5% tint on my rear window, no one can see my subs now!! Bwha ha ha... It looks better, now only the roll down windows to go. I'm asking for my Bumper and winch for christmas, I hope I get it.

This weekend will be filled with incredible amounts of mudding. Friends will be home for Thanksgiving, lots of fellow graduates will attend our High School's Turkey Bowl against henderson and that means I'll be covered in mud from tire to roof, front bumper to rear, and parked under the lights next to the stadium for everyone to look it. The reactions are what make mudding so much better. HOORAY FOR MUD!!

11/15/02 - it may not be about mudding, but I raced an Integra with my jeep and destroyed him. The funny thing is I never left 3rd gear and I had 2 other people in my car...hahahaha

11/3/02 - Sorry I haven't updated, I've just been a little busy with school and everything. For all you Jeep-heads out there, get a loud of this... Just last night a guy tried to make fun of my jeep, saying "what is this a 1982 Cherokee?" Boy, did he pick the wrong year... of course I said right back to him (pardon my language) "No, dumbass, it's a '96. Jeep didn't even make Cherokee's in 1982, they started in 1984, jackass!" oh well, talk to you later.

10/10/02 - I just went mudding this afternoon and man was it awesome. Got some video footage that I'll try to post up sometime, and I have a few pictures of the carnage after I was finished. I'll post those pictures as soon as I get them. Check back I'll be writing stories about the adventures of mudding...
